Coach Tommy is a 2012 graduate of West Islip High School, where he earned varsity letters in football, basketball, and baseball. It was not until 11th grade until Coach Tommy decided forego his soccer career, and to begin his football career. He earned the starting job as the teams kicker and punter his junior and senior year. During his senior season, Coach Tommy had the 2 longest field goals in Suffolk County, and was named to MSG Varsity All Metro List.
Coach Tommy decided to pursue his academic and athletic career at Utica College. At Utica, he won the starting kicking job as a freshmen, and played all 41 games of his career. During his senior year, Coach handled all kicking and punting duties, where he had statistically one of the best kicking single seasons in Division III history. Coach was named to the AFCA Coaches Division III All American first team, becoming the first to do so in program history.

Coach Tommy dedicates his time now as a kicking and punting coach, guiding student athletes to one day play for a college football program. He was an assistant coach at his alma mater at West Islip High School, where he coached special teams and specialists on the JV and Varsity levels.
